Residential Manager – Adult Residential Care
Salary £32,879 per annumapply
Full Time 37.5 hours per week
(with flexibility required to ensure the effective delivery of duties based on the needs of the service).
David Lewis is an employer of choice.We are looking to recruit a Residential Manager for part of our Adult Residential provision who will ensure the highest standards of care are achieved and that the operation and service is to residents is safe, effective, caring, responsive, well lead and that the services are person centred and meet individual need.
The Residential Manager will report into the Registered Manager and will ensure that the service is fully compliant with all legislative, statutory and regulatory requirements, internal policies, procedures and guidelines and that the service complies with the highest standards of delivery, corporate culture and values.The Residential Manager will provide clear leadership for the care teams through exemplar values and behaviours.
We are looking for an experienced and proven manager who like us believes that every individual matters and has a passion to be the best at everything they do and can lead care teams through exemplar values and behaviours.The successful candidate will ideally possess a minimum Level 4 in Health and Social Care and Level 4 qualification in Management or equivalent (or demonstrate a willingness to work towards these qualifications).Successful candidates will also demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:
-Understanding of regulatory frameworks for health and social careincluding the CQC regulatory framework and fundamental standards.
-Experience of leading teams within a care setting.
-A working knowledge of adults with a range of complex additional learning and physical needs e.g. autism and epilepsy.
-Ability to act as role model to set and deliver high standards of care.
-Ability to lead by example, motivate and empower others.
-Demonstrate that they have taken ownership of their career, training and development.
-Possess exceptional organisational skills with good administrative, communication,literacy and numeracy skills
-Can operate with authority and credibility both internally and externally and communicate effectively with service users, family members, staff and colleagues in a multidisciplinary environment.
-Comfortable working with IT systems and online care management programmes.
